Warranty, returns and refunds on Browne Products

Browne pedals sold in USA carry a 2-year non transferrable Warranty while Pedals sold Internationally (outside of the USA) carry a 1-year non transferrable Warranty (proof of purchase required). I know it can be hard when a pedal starts to have issues, but please understand that any and all warranty coverage is only for any problem related to the function or operation of the pedal due to parts found to be faulty since the first use. Our warranty does not cover malfunctions due to accidents or other issues such as broken knobs, pots and jacks due to abuse, scratches in external paint or malfunctions due to external power supply issues (remember - 9VDC only please!).

Warranty is not valid on products purchased from a non-authorized Browne Dealer - meaning if you bought a pedal from someone on ebay who had dropped it in a bucket of water and didn’t tell you - sorry, we can’t be responsible for that, as you can understand. Our authorized dealers can be found on this website on our dealer page.

All items purchased from authorized Browne dealers are subject to the dealer’s terms and conditions for returns. Items purchased from authorized Browne Dealers cannot and should not be returned directly to Browne Amplification, unless otherwise indicated or specific arrangements have been made. To put it simply - if you bought it from a dealer, please go to them first.

FOR WARRANTY - Items can be shipped back to Browne Amplification when bought directly from our website, however, all costs for shipping back to Browne are the responsibility of the customer while costs for shipping back to customer will be covered by Browne - except for malfunctions arisen within 10 days from the receipt of the product, wherein Browne will pay for all the costs. In layman’s terms - if you buy it from us, and something goes wrong within 10 days - we will pay for it to be shipped back to us for repair. If it’s been longer than 10 days, we will still repair it under warranty, but you are responsible for getting it shipped to us for repair.

In the case of a functioning issue that needs a repair, the customer can retain the right to have it fixed locally or sent to us. To have the Browne warranty coverage on this third-party repair service covered by us, the customer needs to have been in communication with us and have the repair approved. The customer must also show the receipt of the repair cost. Browne Amplification reserves the right to fully or partially cover the expense or to offer an equivalent discount.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS - As we are a small company, we can only accept returns and cancellations within the first 7 days of a purchase - we are not Amazon, and it costs us money to do refunds and restock inventory, so make sure you are ok with that! Returns are subject to a 5% restocking fee and we do not refund shipping. Returns must be in full working condition without any damage, and include everything that was sent in the box or we will refuse your refund and return the pedal back to you. If you have any questions about our products, please email us at info@browneamps.com before purchasing.  Also, check with our Dealers, as their policies differ from ours.

Do You Ship Internationally?

Yes. Browne Amplification utilizes USPS first-class mail for all international shipments.  We mark and insure every package for the retail value of all contents--please do not ask us to do any different.

Please note Browne Amplification takes no responsibility and will not pre-pay or reimburse for any duties, taxes, and/or processing fees associated with you receiving your package in your nation. We also do not declare international shipments as “gifts” or under-declare values of international shipments.

What type of power supply do your pedals require?

All of our pedals use a standard 9v DC adapter with a negative ground. We always recommend any high-quality supply that utilizes isolated power. Please only use a power supply made specifically for guitar pedals or you risk damaging the pedal. The use of a power supply with the wrong polarity or that gives an over-voltage supply to a pedal will cause severe damage to it, and the Warranty will not cover it. In other words - no 18V please!
